New York Botanical Gardens Orchid Dinner 2011

Sleek and Sensual

Benefitting the New York Botanical Garden, this table setting was designed for the annual Orchid Dinner hosted high above Columbus Circle at the Mandarin Oriental. Collaborating with our friend and renowned florist, Mark Rose, the delicate Paphiopedilum (Lady Slipper) Orchid is featured in a meandering and deconstructed arrangement. Entwined through a solid silver branch sculpture by Michele Oka Doner, the delicate orchids are the perfect counterpart to the jagged rock crystal votives and sleek Tahitian black pearl colored table linens.
